Following the circulation of a video online showing a Tanzanian citizen who died after falling from the 14th floor of a building in Turkey, a major debate has emerged regarding the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Some unverified reports have been claiming that the deceased’s employer may have been involved, alleging that he might have pushed her from the top of the building.

Additionally, confusion arose over the identity of the deceased after two different photos were shared online, both being claimed to belong to the victim.

Speaking on the matter, a Tanzanian living in Turkey and a former diaspora leader provided clarification, stating that the deceased has been identified as Martha Laurence Kiwanga, a resident of Tanga.

He further explained that another Tanzanian, Emiliana Leornald Nkya, was the one who reported the incident to the police and is currently being held for further investigation.

Investigations into the incident are still ongoing, and the relevant authorities are expected to release an official statement with more details.
