Simba SC has confirmed that striker Seleman Mwalimu “Gomez” will continue with the club after signing a one-year contract extension.
Gomez initially joined the Wekundu wa Msimbazi on loan from Wydad Casablanca of Morocco and went on to impress both the club’s management and technical bench with his performances, leading to the decision to keep him for another season.
During the 2025/26 NBC Premier League season, the forward scored nine goals, playing an important role in strengthening Simba SC’s attacking department and contributing to the team’s results.
The decision to extend Gomez’s stay comes as Simba SC continues preparing for the 2026/27 season, with the club focused on building a competitive squad for both domestic and international competitions.
The Tanzanian giants are also working on strengthening their squad through new signings and retaining key players who have proven their value as they aim for greater success in the upcoming campaign.
