Mex Cortez Unveils “KUUH Remix” Featuring Ibraah, Shirko and More Bongo Stars

Tanzanian music artist Mex Cortez has officially released the much-awaited remix of his popular track “KUUH,” bringing together an impressive lineup of talented artists including Ibraah, Shirko, Droper, Elli Hekima, FreshLikeUhhh, Joh Marley, Saa1nnt, Drillah TZ, and AbNa.

Released on July 15, 2026, the “KUUH Remix” comes after the success of the original version, which featured Ibraah and was released earlier in May 2026. The new remix expands the song’s reach by combining different styles from Bongo Flava, Hip-Hop, Afro-Soul, and modern urban sounds.

The collaboration also highlights the return of legendary Bongo Flava artist Shirko, who makes his comeback to the music scene after a long break. Adding an international touch to the project, Elli Hekima and Trinidad and Tobago-based artist AbNa bring their unique flavours, while FreshLikeUhhh, Drillah TZ, Saa1nnt, Joh Marley, and Droper contribute energetic performances, catchy melodies, and powerful lyrical moments.

The song was recorded at 41Records, with production handled by Blaq Beats, while the mixing and mastering were completed by CHZN Brain. The official music video was filmed and edited by Chench, giving the track a visual experience that matches its energetic sound.
