Tanzanian rapper Young Lunya has officially kicked off his new musical chapter with the release of his latest single “Mkuu Wa Majeshi,” featuring Bongo Flava superstar Harmonize.
The track serves as the first release from Young Lunya’s upcoming “Mbuzi Deluxe” project, bringing together two of Tanzania’s most respected artists for a powerful collaboration. The title “Mkuu Wa Majeshi,” which translates to “Commander of Armies” in English, reflects the confidence, ambition, and strong presence displayed by both artists throughout the song.
The release follows the success of Young Lunya’s debut album campaign, which saw him expand his reach through promotional activities in Kenya and attract wider attention across East Africa. His highly praised “Statement” freestyle also played a major role in strengthening his reputation, earning support from international brands including Hennessy and UK-based streetwear brand Boy London.
